A cryptocurrency’s highest point (in price or market capitalization) in history.
What is All-Time-High?
An asset’s “All-Time High” (ATH) price is the highest it has ever been since it was listed or first created. A trader who purchased an asset at the “all-time high” price has paid the full value of the asset, regardless of how much he originally paid for it.
The “theoretical potential” of an asset can be measured by its all-time high, which is frequently quoted in financial assets around the world. This metric, however, is often referred to as a vanity metric because there is no guarantee that the asset will return to its all-time highs.
